Easy cheap cooler repair I am pleased with this set of replacement parts for the igloo coolers. I was worried it wouldn’t fit right because my cooler is so old but it wasn’t an issue. I like that it has four hinges also incase they get broken again. None of the pieces seem to be the most durable as they are just made of plastic but if you’re careful they should be just fine. There are two different drain plugs but I didn’t have to use them yet. There are also two lid latches and fit on the cooler just right. It…
Hinges and clasps are junk Bought April 2016, didn’t install or use until about June, and then went out maybe 5-6 times. These were used on a big Igloo ice chest in a pontoon, so we don’t bother to take it out. But the boat stays covered when not in use. All three hinges broke when we stood it up to rinse it out for use June 2017.
Inexpensive, effective..but NOT heavy duty This is a good, budget replacement kit. I have a 100 quart cooler which was on it’s way to the garbage. After installing these new latches and drain, here are my thoughts.
