Very disappointed – the image clearly shows the cushion attached by … Very disappointed – the image clearly shows the cushion attached by straps with press studs but when mine came, it has 4 x wimpy pieces of velcro – did anyone else have this bait and switch? Also the cushion has a big velcro seam across the back which is just going to let water sit in there under the cover. These are for marine use after all !
Great, with velcro Like other reviewers, there are some things that could be better attachment features. Our Marine Igloo does not have snaps on it. Used 1 1/2′ outdoor 10-pound velcro to attach it to the top. This is how the previous cushion was attached and it kept the cushion from slipping, even with a passenger. New cushion makes the cooler look new!
Does not cover the full lid of the 54qt Marine Igloo cooler, but works. It does not cover the entire lid of the matching cooler (54qt), specifically the “built in fish measuring scale”. The Igloo package even shows it covering the entire lid of the cooler. Despite that, it work as intended, and when you’re sitting it on you don’t really notice that it’s not covering the whole lid. Still think it could be a wee bit cheaper, but much cheaper than buying it at West Marine.
