Good value and quality Bought this item for my 84 year old stepfather who was asking about the Atomic Lantern advertised on TV. After doing some research, decided that were were cheaper options available on Amazon. Was going to buy a more popular brand, but for some reason thought these were manufactured in US not China. Fantastic product!!! Love them!! I really like these products. After years of using an illuminating snowglobe for light whenever the power goes out I finally looked into getting something more convenient. I am very happy with the headlamp and lanterns in this pack. Both lamps are very bright and can illuminate my room and the headlamp has a high, low, strobe, red and red strobe setting. It came with all the necessary batteries and hopefully the power never goes out but if it does it feels nice to have great backup lights. I…
Great Headlamps….Junk Lanterns Earlier I bought just the headlamp and considered it a great overall bargain. Rather than just buy another I thought I’d get it in a set that included two lanterns as well for $10 more. I expected to be as pleasantly surprised by the lanterns as I was by the headlamp. I wasn’t. One of the lanterns is troublesome to open/close and will probably fail soon. The other lantern stays on when closed (bad switch?) You can see this in the attached picture.
