Great stuff, I love this stuff. Have been using it for several years now to start fires in my fireplace or camp. It is easy to vacuum pack for backpack carry too.It lights easier than some other products I tested and it stays burning longer.

Mom of Four says:

Does exactly as advertised. Just a little will get a nice fire Will never go camping without this stuff. We camp about once per month and always struggle with starting a fire as we often have to use wood at the campground which is green or wet. This stuff works really really well. About a half cup is all you need.

Save Your Money It works – sort of. I read reviews before I made my purchase, but I am disappointed. Yes, it burns. Yes it will light – albetit a bit stubborn to light, it does. There is ‘no flame up’ – meaning the flame is small, low profile and don’t think you can put a pile under pieces of firewood and in a few minutes you will have a raging fire – it wont happen. You still need your paper, kindling and such … so there is really not much different than making a fire the old fashion way. The only saving…
