I like this thing so much I bought another this came in real handy, (when hurricane Mathew killed the power for 3 days) I’m still using the same set(4 D-cells) of batteries. I like this thing so much I bought another.
Broke within 20 hours of indoor use. This unit is very bright. I have two UST Duro-brand lanterns rated at 700 and 1200 lumens, and this appears to be within the range delivered by those units. There are a few complaints I have about the Yeti (other than the fact that it died).The build quality is not on par with the UST lanterns, for which I paid $50 and $80 dollars at REI for their latest editions (not the older, dimmer ones sold on Amazon). Great Light, Yooper approved! After reading other reviews I decided to buy this for the cabin I have in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan that is off the grid. I needed it for getting into the cabin and those periods of time between lighting the propane lanterns.
