Sand filters are one of the most desirable methods to keep pool water clear and sparkling. Not only does the all-natural, inexpensive sand do an excellent job of filtering the water, it needs replacement only once every five years, making sand filter the easiest maintenance filtration option on the market. Saltwater systems with E.C.O. (electro catalytic oxidation) are known for their ability to keep pool water clean and safe, while eliminating the harshness of traditional packaged chlorine. Intex has combined these two excellent systems into one product, providing above ground pool owners with ONE low cost, low maintenance system that will keep pools clean, safe, and comfortable for swimmers. Both systems are controlled automatically with one 24-hour timer to make daily operation care-free!• Designed for use with Above Ground Pools from 4,800 to 15,000 Gallon Capacity. • 110-120V with GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter). • 16 and #34; tank diameter. 0.95 hp. motor. • Pump flow rate 2,650 gph. Awesome pump for Intex pools Purchased this pump for my intex rectangular(9x18x52) ultra frame pool. Got the 2150 and it keeps up nicely. I also put in the hayward sidewall skimmer. This duo keeps my pool crystal clear.

I cant believe it was not 5 times the price! dont let the brand name fool you. Update… July 2016 we purchased a Coleman 16ft pool for $280.00! It is now July if 2017 and this is our 3rd year with it. Put this system from our little tiny pool onto this one. Uses about 5200 gallons of water and 126lbs of salt (morton natural salt). Water is crystal clear. I dont even pay attention to the Ph of the water since none of us have itchy skin after swimming for hours. I do check to ensure chlorine level is correct each day to ensure the titanium plates are doing their job…

Extremely happy swimmer!! Very pleased with this setup. I have a 24′ X 52″ Intex Ultra Frame pool. This season I drained the pool, cleaned it, filled it and converted to salt water. I’ve heard lots of negative comments about switching to a salt water setup, but these were all made by owners or employees of all the local pool stores. After only 2 weeks of installing it, I understand why – they won’t be making any money off of me. When I asked for a price to switch over to salt, I was given a quote of $1,800 just for…
