Plates held vertically, Room to dry dishes without second sink compartment reflux worries Have a few previous dish racks – they easily trap food particles or “splashed stuff” from first utensil clean in their utensil holder “colander base multi-hole water drain” compartment. Also – dish drain has water vapor and garbage disposal always has food particles and grit (except after it is cleaned with the cleaning pods – but then look and see what comes out of the “second sink drain – yuck!). Also – many racks hold plates at a slant – less room for other things to dry and water trapped…

I like it–but check your size It’s great. Dishes dry better than on a towel because air circulates under them. And the vertical lid holder or what it is actually holds up a pretty heavy wooden cutting board, so that’s good.The only problem is that it’s a tad bit too small. It’s maybe an inch bigger than my undermount sink opening, and that means that if it moves a little, which it does often, it falls in. And it’s a mess when it falls in.
