The Isosteel Vacuum Food Container VA-9683 is an advancement of the good old ‘lunch pail’ made of sheet metal or enamel the miners used. But this modern container keeps the food warm for hours when you’re on the go. It’s made of double-walled 18/8 stainless steel and has a space-saving sliding handle for transport. The meal can be placed directly into the container, which has a capacity of about 51 fl. oz/1.5 liters, or in portions in the 3 plastic containers that are suitable for microwave. The plastic lid has a valve through which hot steam can be vented before opening the container. The plastic containers are dishwasher proof. Vacuum Food Container is only suitable for handwash

Hard to find form factor with quality thrown in I like it’s design, the ease of cleaning it since the opening is so wide and the heat retention isn’t mind blowing but definitely impressive enough to justify the price. My only gripe is the handle…it just feels flimsy and it’s quite impractical for anyone with bigger hands
Versatile I prepared my sons lunch at 630am and he ate it at 12noon. I was skeptical if the food would still be warm by the time he was able to eat it, and to my surprise he said it was. The containers actually hold more than I thought they would, which was also a nice surprise. The versatility of this thermos is quite nice, as you can use it without the containers for one very large meal, if you so choose. valued product It is so great. I used today, almost seven hours, food are still warm. Very important tips: before place food, poor hot water heats up the container at least 3 minutes.
