Was disappointed with the quality of this bag Was disappointed with the quality of this bag. The canvas feels very cheap and plastic-y. It’s not like the canvas JanSport bag I’ve had for many years. Not sure if it’s cheaper for kids, but I wasn’t expecting the plastic feel.
A much loved backpack with a horrible zipper My daughter loves her backpack so much and it looks absolutely brand new. The only problem is that after one zipper pull catching multiple times, the same zipper pull is useless for zipping the zipper closed. The working zipper has to be pulled all the way to one side for the zipper to be closed completely. Not a big deal for an adult but this is super inconvenient for a small child who is still learning so many new things. I expected better for $40.
This will last me awhile! So we’ve had this backpack for my daughter for half the year. IT STILL LOOKS BRAND NEW! My daughter loves this backpack and it’s cute to see how the other children react to it. There were some pretending to eat the donuts off her pack. Jansport has always been my go to for quality backpacks and again they did not disappoint. This bag is pretty simple, not a lot of pockets, but I bought it for my first grader. With the way this backpack is working out I imagine it will last several more years…
