crappy thing to call tree straps the hammock seems ok but this is a piss poor excuse for tree straps. its a strip of nylon about 3/4″ wide and 24″ long. no loops at all. what exactly do you expect me to tie this around? the trees would have to be exactly the right distance apart. its going to take most of the 24″ to wrap around the tree, make a knot then make a loop for the caribiner to hook on
A Good Hammock I like the hammock and it does appear to be quite sturdy and would probably hold 400 lbs. but the straps are very thin (1 inch wide) and very short, so you’d have to have two small trees precisely placed at the proper distance from one another in order to properly hang the hammock. I don’t picture that happening very often and will probably replace the hanging straps soon. Other than that, however, it’s a fine hammock.
Good hammock, straps not good. Seems to be a great one man hammock. I was dissapointed in the straps. I thought they were looped strapps that would make it easier to hang the hammock. Instead they are just straight straps that you will have to tie. The traps are actually pretty short. I would say that you should expect to buy a set of straps yo make setup easier. Like I said the hammock works great and really only fits one full grown adult.
