Just OK. Not as good as my other Ka-Bars This is not s bad knife but when I compare it to my very similar Buck it doesn’t stack up.
Good, sharp knife for the outdoorsman/survivalist I bought this knife for my bugout bag/get home kit which I keep in the trunk of my car. I wanted a kit that would allow me to be prepared for nearly any emergency I could anticipate, and could even allow me to survive on my own for a short to extended period of time should I ever need or want to. Any such kit needs a good, sturdy knife, but I’m on a budget and can’t afford the top of the line, so I needed a good quality knife at an affordable price point.
Perhaps like the first review I got a defective product Perhaps like the first review I got a defective product. The Ka-Bar I received was a piece of junk. The blade was flimsy and the tang and hilt were lose along with the butt cap having about a 16th of an inch gap between it and the leather grip. Never before have I been disappointed with Ka-Bar knives, I have used them for years whether it was in the field, out doors camping with my family, or over seas.
