Light weight material makes it easy to fold up Light weight material makes it easy to fold up. Beach sand and moisture have left marks quickly, which a bit of a bummer. Do NOT try to set this thing up alone. Light weight and parachute material at a windy beach could mean you’re going for a sail you hadn’t planned on. Pay attention to the wind direction when you set up in order to cut down on the hassle. Way bigger (and folds down smaller for carrying) than a simple beach towel and pairs well with a beach tent.
Works great! This is very nice for the beach. The only reason it’s four star is because the stakes are useless. We bought four long ones from that big blue store for .50 a piece. That makes this thing impossible to move. With the small ones it will fly away in bigger gusts. With longer spikes you don’t even need sand in the pockets. Nice to lay on and it’s a perfect size.
Perfect for the Beach I have only used it in the sand on the beach. It worked great. It is a little tricky getting it down at first because it is large and made of very thin parachute material so it blows in the wind like crazy. But once you get it down and fill the little sand pockets, it stays down. It comes with four stakes too. There are loops for more stakes if you want to add your own. The stakes it comes with are not very long at all so they don’t add a lot, but the sand pockets do the job. That being…
