Sturdy and Comfortable…with Small Cupholders I bought this chair for a recent weekend at a state park with my fiancée and other friends. We thoroughly loved the chair, and several other couples were quite jealous! While my fiancée is on the small side, I am a big guy (6’0″, 275 lbs.). We found the chair very comfortable and sturdy, even on somewhat uneven terrain. My only complaint is the cupholders. The cupholder on the right was larger than the one on the left. Chair built for 2! Perfect chair made for 2! Very comfortable for 2 average adults. Seems sturdy and we’ll made. Arrived smelling very strongly of mothballs, but setting on the porch to “air out” did wonders and fixed that! Only minor complaint, the cup holders seem a bit shallow…but maybe it was my giant cup? Anyway, great chair! ð
I compared this with the Kelty double chair that my wife and I have (and love) and were pleasantly surprised at how well built a I bought this chair as a gift for my sister and brother-in-law who are both active people. I compared this with the Kelty double chair that my wife and I have (and love) and were pleasantly surprised at how well built and comfortable the Kamp-Rite model is. It sits up higher than our Kelty chair which actually makes it very comfortable for taller individuals.
