Best hiking shoes ever Holy cow i am SOOOO pleased with these Keen Voyageur hiking shoes. Ive been a Merrell fan for years. I work as a groundskeeper so i wear them for work and for fun both but have had to return 2 pairs ive recently purchased on Amazon due to them running too small. They seem to rub my toes and after any amount of time on my feet i was in serious pain. So i opted to try Keen for change. The girls at work all wear Keen and now i know why. Buyer beware I should have paid attention to the review that stated that the boots she received looked like seconds. The pair I received were a hot mess and not of Keen quality. You can see in the accompanying photo that the color of the leather is very uneven along the toe portion. Along the sides of the boots, where the rubber met the leather…it was very ragged and unsightly.
They Don’t Make Them Like They Used To! This is my 4th pair of Keen’s and they don’t make them like they used to. I purchased these shoes on March 20, 2015 and I noticed a few days ago that the inside material is already worn through in some spots, and I haven’t had them three months! I buy Keen’s because they have great support, light, and the inner soles are removable; I use orthodics due to blowing up my ankle in a skiing accident years ago.
