Big toe box is great on the downhill! The toe box on the Voyager style is roomy, more so than other hiking boots. They give me Frankenfeet, yet they are my favorite hiking boots of all time! Why? They Don’t Make Them Like They Used To! This is my 4th pair of Keen’s and they don’t make them like they used to. I purchased these shoes on March 20, 2015 and I noticed a few days ago that the inside material is already worn through in some spots, and I haven’t had them three months! Buyer beware I should have paid attention to the review that stated that the boots she received looked like seconds. The pair I received were a hot mess and not of Keen quality. You can see in the accompanying photo that the color of the leather is very uneven along the toe portion. Along the sides of the boots, where the rubber met the leather…it was very ragged and unsightly.
