Now your EDC-perfect Leek comes in jewel-tone purple. Like other Leeks, this one features a task-ready 3-inch blade, slim, easy-to-carry design, and cutting versatility. The modified drop-point blade shape makes it a good slicing knife, while the slim tip gives it excellent piercing and detail work capabilities. Built of Sandvik 14C28N high-performance stainless steel, the Leek’s blade comes razor sharp out of the box and holds its edge, too. Whether you’re left-handed or right-handed, it’s easy to open your Leek one-handed with SpeedSafe assisted opening. A simple pull back on the ambidextrous blade protrusion or push outward on the thumb stud and the Leek’s blade is ready to go to work. The purple color is a fade-resistant, scratch-resistant dye that’s permanently bonded to the aluminum. Looks good now, looks good later, too. For safety, a locking liner keeps the blade locked open during use and a Tip-Lock slider locks it closed when folded. The pocket clip is reversible for tip-up or tip-down carry and the handle is drilled to accept a lanyard. Flipper: Protrusion on the back of the blade that the user can pull back on, or flip, in order to move the blade easily out of the handle. Reversible: Change either the tip position or the side on which the knife carries.

My favorite knife. My favorite pocket knife. Light, easy to carry and works and looks great. I tend to buy a new one every couple of years, only due to the fact I use mine heavily every day and I’m not very nice to it. Super sharp, opener is awesome, just remember the safety latch when it’s in your pocket. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

Great looking knife and VERY sharp point Great looking knife and VERY sharp point. I’ve had it for about 2.5 months. I like the “Tip-Lock slider” feature, which you don’t have to use. Flips open easily and smoothly. The screws that hold it together don’t seem to come loose and fall out like they did for a cheap non-Kershaw I once bought. The paint is not wearing off like it does with those cheap knifes either. It’s a quality piece worth the $40 or so bucks. I’ll definitely buy Kershaw again when the need arises in the…

Kershaw-y goodness It’s a Kershaw, enough said. I’ve come to collect a handful of Kershaws over the past year or so. The design, material, fit and finish have all been top notch. This particular review is for the Orange SpeedSafe Leek.
