We’ve added our awesome BlackWash finish to one of our most popular knives: the black Blur. BlackWash gives the blade an already-broken-in look-like a favorite well-worn pair of jeans. The coating provides an extra measure of protection for the metal and the BlackWash helps hide any additional scratches you may put on the knife during normal use. Like all Blurs, this BlackWash version is equipped with a big, slightly recurved blade that’s ideal for multitasking. The blade shape offers both excellent slicing and piercing capabilities. High-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel provides the Blur’s blade with corrosion resistance and excellent edge-holding ability. The handle is built of durable 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, which is sometimes described as “aircraft aluminum” since it is a common material used for aircraft fittings. It’s lightweight, extremely durable and accepts a dye well so Kershaw can create colored handles that are scratch resistant and extra tough. Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts provide an extra-secure grip. For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening. The pocketclip is reversible for a choice of tip-up or tip-down carry. Made In The USA-When you see this on one of our knives, it means the knife was made in our Tualatin, Oregon manufacturing facility by skilled Kershaw knife makers.

Awesome Quality! I bought this knife for my husband for his birthday – it wasn’t exactly a surprise though! He literally “tested” out and held every single knife at a local sports store and fell in love with this knife. It is small enough to fit in his pocket but large enough to be usable. This was about 1/2 the price on Amazon so we waited to order it online, instead of buying it in the store. Highly recommend this!
A Quality EDC Favorite. The Kershaw Blur has been a stellar performer thus far. I wanted an American made knife with decent steel at a great price point and glad I chose this particular model! The knife itself is very sleek, and was a tad bigger than I thought it be (which is a good thing on my end). Edge retention on the Sandvik 14C28N is better than expected. I HAVE BLUR VISION ! I already own several Kershaw Blurs and decided to purchase this one because I wanted to add a Blackwash version to my collection. I really like the Kershaw Blur in all its varieties. I personally think you get a lot of knife for the money spent. It feels great in the hand, the blade material 14C28N Sandvik Steel with Blackwash finish is superb!
