The Scrambler is a cool and classy knife to begin with. But now Kershaw has added an extra measure of cool with our BlackWash finish. BlackWash gives a knife that already-broken-in look-like a favorite well-worn pair of jeans. The coating also provides an extra measure of protection for the metal and helps hide any additional scratches you may put on the knife during normal use. Designed by RJ Martin, the Scrambler’s drop-point blade is hollow-ground so it breezes through slicing tasks, while the large flat-ground top swedge adds to its good looks. The blade steel offers strength and good edge retention. All the metal on the knife-blade, front bolster and handle back are BlackWash finished. The comfortable, secure-grip handle features textured G-10 on the front side and a sturdy frame lock on the other. The bolster is extended to provide forefinger protection and to ensure the knife sits firmly in the hand during use. The Scrambler opens quickly and easily with the ambidextrous flipper and SpeedSafe assisted opening. It includes a reversible pocketclip for left- or right-handed carry.

Good Buy but Not for Me Nice knife for the money but it’s too big for me. Feels like a fixed blade when I hold it – it’s too big and heavy for EDC.

I Love This Knife! I love this knife! The blade style caught my eye and everything else about it just made it more appealing. The top swedge creates the distinctive look of the blade while the textured front handle only adds more distinction. The blade smoothly and quickly deploys and the robust frame lock keeps it firmly in place. I do like the blackwash finish; it creates a very cool look. Most of my knives are blackwash or anodized but I like the Scrambler so much that I am considering getting the Scrambler…

Great knife with a few minor complaints I’ve been using this as my primary EDC knife for a month now. My favorite thing about this knife is the assisted opening system. With no thumb studs you have to rely on the flipper. I was a little unsure about this choice until I used it. It opens fast and smooth and locks up solid every time. It’s the best assisted opening mechanism I’ve used. I also carry the Kershaw Cryo in my EDC rotation and the opening mechanism on the Scrambler is better. I love the unique blade shape and the fit…
