Above par for the price Just got it. The deployment is a little bit rough but after a couple dozen deployments it has gotten better. The blade design on this thing is the beez neese. The blade is just ever so slightly off center when folded. Overall though this is exactly what I was hoping for in a box cutter/ work knife. The blade retention is what it is, not hard to dull but not hard to sharpen either. One of those cheapies that will miraculously last a life time (or until the spring gives out, but hopefully not).

Another great Kershaw Hande has a nice, solid feel and the grip is well executed. Blade sharpens up quickly to a razor edge. I dislike clips so I removed it, but it was strong and would serve well for those of you that like them. Had to loosen the blade screw just a tad to make the speed assist as responsive as I like it. I’d recommend picking up the Kershaw torx tool if you haven’t already.

I love its unique blade I love its unique blade, large size, solid and weighty feel in my hand, smooth and quiet openness, as well as the ease of its closing! While this folder may not be your everyday pocket knife, you won’t be disappointed if you want to add a solid, reliable knife to your collection. Another reason is due to its very affordable price! I simply could not resist the deal. I highly recommend this knife to those who are interested in getting a heavier, larger knife!
