Better than expected This was honestly better than I expected. It’s going to make this festival season so much better and easier for sleeping. It’s a bit heavy, but I’m not backpacking with it. Unroll it, open the valves, walk away, boom! Sleeping pad! I expected it to be harder to roll and put in the bag? Based on other reviews. Just keep rolling and pushing the air out and make sure you close the valves. Definitely awesome.

Unfortunately, deflating them is another matter. I find them very hard to get the air out. You have to fold the mat over and lay on it, Then you need to shut the valve again and unroll it and start over pushing air out as you roll. My husband and I both had to do this process at least 3 times laying on the rolled portion each time trying to force air out. If you don’t do this you will never get it rolled tight…

In the interest in downsizing the items I bring with me (including our tent), I decided to try out a sleep pad instead. I wish I could just sleep on the ground, but I’m just too used to nice soft mattresses.I love how nice and thick this sleeping pad is. Anything too thin and I may as well be sleeping right on the ground. But…
