Excellent and very warm socks that make the wife happy My husband bought these for a ski trip, and they fit his size 13 feet great. He reports that they were comfortable to wear with his snowboarding boots. Comfortable, better looking than trail socks. Husband says: Excellent, comfortable socks. I have worn Kirkland’s wool socks for a couple of years. I do a lot of urban walking, so I want comfort, even with dressier shoes. I now wear these even in most dress situations, even though these are considered trail socks. Your shoes have be able to accommodate the extra thickness. Mostly The Only Sox I Wear Only size of these socks available at the local Costco was medium. My experience with the medium has been that, after washing, they’re too tight for a size 8 1/2 to 9 foot. These large-sized sox from Amazon are just right…….and they wear very well! They ‘pill-up’, but not an issue for me as the pilling is soft and they’re my go-to ‘everyday’ sox.
