Great thermos, poor exterior finish I spent extra money to purchase the blue kanteen so that we could easily tell our thermoses apart. But the paint is chipping off after only a couple of weeks, even though my husband carries it in his insulated pack away from damaging articles.It is an excellent thermos as far as keeping drinks hot. Marking off only for the non-chip resistant exterior.
It leaks. A LOT!!! When I first saw one of these at Whole Foods I thought they looked great and I was excited to buy one for my girlfriend for Christmas. I thought with the great construction (and the high price) that this would keep things hot/cold and also be great for commuting to work since it wouldn’t leak. Sadly, I was wrong. The very first day she was on her way to work she didn’t notice that the cup had tipped over in her passenger seat. Upon arrival at work over 1/2 of her coffee was now on the seat…
Not great as a water bottle I wanted a steel water bottle with a lid that let me sip out of it, instead of one I had to twist on and off every time. This one is..sort of disappointing. Itâs more made for hot drinks than water, so thatâs probably why I didnât love it, but anyway. The liquid comes out sort of slow, and when you get to the last few ounces of water, itâs hard to get it to come out of sip lid. Also, it leaks. Thereâs a hole in the top, like youâd see on a plastic coffee lid, and you canât close that hole…
