I’m a Fan of Klymit While staying UL focused, there needs to be some sort of system implemented with this pillow so that it stays in place, whether it’s straps, a grip surface or something else. Although comfortable when things are ‘Perfect’, this pillow slides and moves about more than I do throughout the night. As others have mentioned, it’s also difficult to keep in place when it’s teetering on the edge of your sleeping pad. This won’t be going on the next trip, and I’ll prob just use my self-packing, UL down…
Great improvement over original I had an original X-Pillow. I purchased this one as a replacement, my dog ate the other one. I am kind of glad my dog ate the old one. This one is a lot more comfortable for a modest weight/price increase. The best feature is that it has a softer cover. This one feels more like fabric than vinyl. Not quite what I thought it would be I picked up the Klymit Pillow X on a recommendation from a friend, and I’m really torn about this pillow. It has a few really great qualities but its drawbacks make it difficult for me to want to use consistently.
