The Kodiak Canvas Swag tent is a highly versatile, one-person, portable, sleep system-an advanced evolution of the traditional bedroll. Add a blanket or sleeping bag, and you have all you need to bed down. It is six feet eight inches long and nearly three feet wide, providing a roomy sleeping space. Use it on the ground, in the bed of a pickup, or with a compatible cot. Included is a foam mattress pad. When it’s time to move, the Swag packs up in no time-pad, sleeping bag (sold separately), blankets and all. Everything is neatly rolled and ready for the next stop. My new favorite camping setup This is by no means a lightweight tent. It is made of heavy, high quality canvas. Without the included mat, you might be able to fit it in a backpack. With the mattress, it is better suited for car camping.The canvas is treated with waterproofing, and rain beads right off. The thick vinyl floor keeps you dry, and the mesh windows at each end help keep air flowing. I never had any issue with condensation, even in cold weather. Great mobile base unit l think it’s great. I do quite a lot of camping and trekking and bought this primarily because I’d always wanted to be able to sleep under the stars whilst being free from wee crawly beasties and this tent is just the job. It’s a fair weight and pack size is quite large so can only be used within reasonable proximity to a vehicle or base, but that’s what I bought it for. I have another lightweight tent for walking and cycling. It’s very sturdy and robust, I hope it will provide many years…
