The TOM Aquatic Gardener from KollerCraft makes aquarium maintenance fast and effective. Grip the ergonomic grip lever to manipulate the attachment tongs or trimming scissors. Great for general aquarium maintenance I’ve had very good luck with these for many years, they are worth the price. In my experience they last for about ten years of general aquarium work. Being able to work on a 100 gallon tank and stay dry makes it easy to perform maintenance. I’m now using two of these when pruning; the pliers to move leaves out of the way so there’s better access with the scissors. Excellent tool for everyday planted aquarium needs. I have been using this tool for over a year now and it has worked well for me in a ten and 30 gallon long planted aquariums. It takes some getting used to but I can reliably plant stems in the substrate, precisely place food like algae wafers, and remove detris and snails when needed. I am very happy with it as I usually need to adjust the plants in the aquarium on a daily basis and I would rather not stick my arms in up to my shoulder every time to get to the substrate. Get one now!! I bought this tools for my fish tanks and am sure glad I did. I used to have to constantly put my hands in the tank in order to turn shells over, fixed tipped over snails, move plants, and more! Thanks to this tool, I am able to keep my hands dry while taking care of necessary maintenance items. The tool folds for easy storage and only needs a quick wipe from a rag to dry.
