The Koolatron P-85 Krusader Cooler uses a 12 Volt thermoelectric module powered by cigarette lighter in your vehicle to cool your favourite drinks and snacks to 40° Fahrenheit below the ambient temperature. The P-85 Krusader Cooler is the largest 12 volt cooler available. It fits 80- 12 oz cans, and is great for large families or serious tailgating.

Koolatron 12 Volt Coolers and Warmers will heat or cool your lunch and beverages. You can use Koolatron 12 Volt Coolers in your car, RV, boat, truck, dorm or just at home as spare fridge. So while you relax and enjoy quiet, dependable 12 volt cooling, other campers and drivers are stuck in the “Ice Age”, standing in line to buy overpriced ice or driving from store to store looking for an ice.

By reversing the power cord you can also turn the Koolatron P-85 Krusader into a warmer to keep “fast food” or “take out food” hot on the way home. Take a full load of hot chocolate or coffee to the gang in winter, or a hot casserole and other hot foods to family gatherings. The P-85 Krusader is so versatile you’ll never want to leave home without it!

Koolatron Coolers have been proudly manufactured in North America for over 20 years and are backed by a 1-year Manufacturer’s Warranty.

Jed says go Koolatron Got our new Koolatron Krusader 3 months ago, and have run it on outings. Recently my wife and I took a trip to New Orleans for six days . We loaded the the little fridge with beer, booze, and wine. Oh yeah , and some food. I bought the A.C. To D.C. adapter so when we stopped for the night I could plug it into a socket in the hotel room. This is the first electronic cooler that lve bought, and have to say this little fridge is excellent for people on the go. It keeps everything cold ! Colder…

Think of the Koolatron as an ice chest with a motor on it. If you will think of this as a cooler with a motor to keep things cool, then you might be happy with your purchase. Do not plug it in your car and expect to leave it running. It will drain your car battery. I later read that more than 4 hours running, in a vehicle that isn’t running, will drain battery. My new Ford Edge was so dead I couldn’t unlock my keyless doors. I’m disappointed that I can’t keep it plugged in. I will just have to be aware of how long the cooler is running while the…

whereas the Koolatron 12 volt plug stays cool) and it keeps my food as cool as the Coleman did Had a Coleman unit before, which died after a year. The Coleman fan motor is a common failure mode according to other reviews. Too early to judge the Koolatron 52 longevity, but it is more quiet, seems to use less power to operate (the Coleman 12 volt plug was always hot and finally melted, whereas the Koolatron 12 volt plug stays cool) and it keeps my food as cool as the Coleman did, maybe a little cooler. The only reason I didn’t give the Koolatron 5 stars is the outer walls with…
