I should have listened to the negative reviews I wish I had trusted the more negative reviews. This tool is not very good at anything except as a reveal guide and a small ruler. It is just to imprecise for 90 degree angles. Too much play in the one I received. I expect more out of a kreg product. I consider their other tools a quality product. This tool should be about half the price.

A small little gem but surprisingly useful I never thought I’d find this so useful. In just the past few weeks I’ve used this to quickly set the overlap distance on a roof shingle. Set it against the fascia and slide the shingle to touch it to make a perfect measurement every time. I also used it to set the depth of a piece of drywall to patch a large hole. Meh…don’t bother Meh…not sure if the design of this item requires the plastic cover to be removable or not, but when removing the brass thumbscrew the cover comes completely off (there are two recessed holes on the underside of the cover, and two mating “pins” on the body, which led me to believe the cover is supposed to ‘snap’ onto the pins and NOT come off). The bubble level also fell out once the cover came off. I ended up super-gluing the bubble level into the recess, as well as super gluing the…
