Another AWESOME Kubey Flipper, Another AWESOME Kubey Flipper, this is my 3rd. Operates smooth as butter and, for a factory edge, as sharp as one would need, thought I will be finessing the edge to my standard. My only “gripe” is the ‘tip up carry only’ option, I prefer tip down.Update: I was curious as to whether this knife had nylon bushings or roller bushings, so I took it apart and yes it has roller bushings, the butter smooth action, in a nylon race.
A very good knife. I ordered the kubey knife ku162 October 20th 2018. After receiving it I found it was so hard to flip open that I could almost not do it. I wrote kubey asking them what I could do to make it easier to open. They answered me thanking me for purchasing the knife and said they would report the issue to their design Department. Winner! Well, this is another really well made edc type of flipper knife, from a really good Chinese knife maker. I’ve acquired now in a little over a year, 14 of their knives, and I think this Company tries to do things right. I’ve had issues with a cpl of their knives, and Kubey always stands behind their knives, and goes the extra mile to replace the piece in question, or whatever it takes to leave the customer happy.
