NICE! Man! I’m so happy/impressed This light is plenty bright! I have it behind a tinted window and still NO PROBLEM seeing it! It comes with maybe 12″ pigtail out of the center of the light with 5 wires. I bought a plug for a cigarette lighter and hooked it to that, (red to red black to black and yellow to yellow) (didn’t use white or blue as blue syncronizes to another light and white is used to light it up when brakes or signals are used) and the light works as does the mode change. What out for the suction cups. This thing is amazing. If you had any reserve on brightness, well, this deck light is just that. Bright. Everything works as expected except one thing: suction cups. Theses cups does not want to stay in place. I had my mounted on the back window of an Explorer, turned around and it fell off, at which time it bent the brackets. The fall didn’t do it. It was the way it peeled off when the suction cups we’re giving out. Luckily a hammer can flatten them back out but I advise to stay away…
Whelen who? I was extremely nervous about buying a non-brand name light but I decided to give it a try. I’ve had this light in for a few months and I am impressed. I will be removing four Whelen TIR3 from my back deck due to this light being bright enough to provide the extra warning I wanted on top of making the name brand lights seem like toys.
