- 420HC STAINLESS STEEL LOCKING BLADE: The Rev is equipped with a blade crafted from 420HC, a high-carbon stainless steel that is corrosion resistant and can be easily maintained. 420HC’s strength is optimized in Leatherman multi-tools by heat treatment. The blade locks into place when fully deployed and must be manually unlocked to fold it away, which allows for a much safer user experience.
- OUTSIDE-ACCESSIBLE BLADE: The Rev’s 420HC Stainless Steel blade is accessible while the tool is in its folded or closed position, mimicking the functionality of a pocket knife.
- REPLACEABLE POCKET CLIP: The Rev includes a removable clip which allows you to wear it attached to a pocket or belt loop without the use of a sheath. By removing the clip, the user is able to easily carry their tool in a sheath if preferred.

The more I use it, the more I like it At first I wan’t crazy about this design, but it has grown on me. I like the weight and the simplicity of it. I have two of these and am considering picking up another one or two to stash in various places. These have come in handy on more than one occasion and kept me from having to go to the garage or truck to get other tools.
It’s OK but i returned it because the blade could not be opened one handed I wanted to like this, I’m a leatherman guy. I grew up with the old school swiss army knife and as soon as leatherman came out with their first model i bought one.. still have it. every new model/improvment i bought and carried. now the complete history of leatherman technology and style evolution is catered throughut my house and worksop. Big Boy USA Multi Tool at a cheap Chinese knock off price. In my view, the Rev is the best bang for your buck in Leatherman multi-tools. I have the Wave, but it’s a bit heavy for EDC. The Rev is just the right weight, and comes with pocket clip in place, ready to go. In a sea of options where you wind up not utilizing your multi-tool purchase, I can honestly say that you will use this one. In the few months I’ve had it, I’ve used the pliers, wire cutters, knife, both screwdrivers, and last but by no means least, the package opener for those annoying…
