Not too thrilled I have several leatherman tools. This one is disappointing and seems overpriced. I fell for the flint, hammer and sharpener gimmick. As a every day pocket tool box this is a major fail. Due to the hammer you cant use the screw driver with both handles closed very awkward to use the screw driver. You cant fit the bit set in holder since the signal is wider than the average leatherman. Not happy with the knife either would have preferred a non serated blade. Still will be carrying my wave every…

Great. First I was worried as it moves a lot when I try to open the knife and saw but then I found a ‘Lock’ under the hammer. Then it works just fine for me.Some people says it’s just gimmick but for me it works just fine. I don’t really use scissors or all the small tools but mostly need Philips drivers, plier at work and some box opener (the knife).1/4 hex bit driver doesn’t hold tight but still handy, and small hammer also works great for me(unless you try to nail with it…

I have 3 other Leatherman tools so I’m familiar with … I have 3 other Leatherman tools so I’m familiar with the fit and finish usually found in Leatherman products. The Signal fails to come up to the usual standard. I need another tool to access certain of the Signals “features” because they are so difficult to move to their working position. The whistle is a joke, the sharpening device it tiny as is the flint. All in all the unit is disappointing and overpriced. This should cost in the $65 to $70 range.
