Too Cheap of Quality for the Job I’ve rather own nothing but Leatherman multi-tools; However, the Leatherman Signal feels extremely cheap compared to any of its sister products. I bought this one for around $100 and it feels cheaper than the $20-40 options out there.I’m a heavy camper and survivalist, so one big selling point on this for me was the ferro rod with whistle. The attachment piece is plastic, and not even thick plastic. I would pay to have a steel option available, as well for knife sharpener…

Awesome camping/backpacking tool The leatherman signal is a great multi-tool for camping. I usually bring a multi-tool, pocket knife, and a small hammer when backpacking/camping in the woods. I think this can take the place of all 3. This can be used to hammer in tent stakes, and the knife on it is very substantial. It is really thick steel. The length is about the same as the leatherman wave, but this one is much thicker so it can handle tougher jobs. I’ll attach some pictures for a comparison. And the fact that you can start…
