Leatherman hits another home run I’ve carried a Leatherman pocket tool for years. First it was the Micra. Then the Squirt S4. Now the Squirt PS4 looks like it may occupy my pocket for a while. One of the biggest drawbacks with the older Squirt models is that you had to choose between either pliers or scissors. Now with the PS4 you can have both. New are the pliers with wire cutters. Not durable Like it, carry it every day BUT the scissor spring broke, I sent it in for warranty replacement and they returned a different model (the one with the wire strippers). After trying and trying to contact Leatherman to correct the problem I gave up and bought another Squirt. A few weeks later the scissor spring broke on that one – wasn’t even using it, just opened it and the spring bar was laying there broken off. I don’t understand how the scissors on my Swiss Army Knife are perfectly functional…
Impressive but has flaws, not sure if I would be willing to carry it on a keychain I have owned a skeletool for 5-6 years. It has served me well, the problem is that it’s a full sized mutli tool, so it is not very convenient to carry it around sometimes.
