Great product, very flexible Shortly after receiving your lanterns we had a power outage that went into the evening hours. I quickly got out my new lanterns and used them as a flashlight to get around the house and a lantern to provide light for cooking. We fortunately have a gas range which only required a match to ignite.I think ever household should have these lanterns for emergencies. Hopefully our next emergency is some time off.
300 lumen, not 500; hidden storage The “LED Camping Lantern Light Collapsible – Moobibear 500lm COB” came as a pack of two, with the package stating:3W COB 300lmCOB 4.5h3xAA Batteries.300 lumen, not 500! The bottom unscrews and holds the batteries, which are not included. Pulling up on the silver handles extends the lantern and turns the light on. No searching for the on switch in the dark! The part above the silver handles unscrews and provides access to a small storage area (whistle and fire starter)…
Bright Light very bright. very cool design. flashlight isn’t as bright as the lantern mode but I like these. It could be improved if it could be dimmed. These are very neat and sort of futuristic. I like them a lot. These will be for the outer part of the campsite. My brother bought me another lantern that has kind of a fogged lantern that will work better for reading.
