Torn between 4 & 5 stars… yes, a good product ! I rx’d the 300 lumen unit. Indeed, a a bright lanern when fully extended !No instructions to be found, so I briefly floundered, looking for battery storage location access. After testing, I labeled it w/ a grey perm marker.It requires (3) AA batteries. I bought a large pack of alkaline, Amazon brand to use in the anticipated hurricane (which is turning away)…they work fine. Highly Recommended Smaller than I originally thought, but still very bright for its size. I have attached a picture of the LED lantern and a lantern that was given to me. You can clearly see the difference between the two. So far, I’m very happy with my purchase!
