Great flashlight alternative I received one of these in a Christmas stocking and liked it so much I bought another one for myself and 3 for my neighbor. I have one on my refrigerator and another in my computer room .. They are smaller and brighter than a normal flashlight and much nicer to look at! My neighbor has one in the truck of his car – one in his kitchen and one in the utility closet. Really a good buy as well as these were less than half the price I could buy them locally.
they emit smoke and smell like burning electrical wires (dunno if its safe) amazing light very bright and exactly what i was looking for but all four, when turned on for more than 20 second they start to emit a small amount of smoke that smells like burning electrical. i have these in my apartment and i dont feel safe keeping them on unless im watching over them thats why i put three stars if they didnt emit the smoke and smell these would most definitely be a 5 sar
Poor product. Update to initial review below. It was a senior moment for sure when I didnât realize there were TWO separate battery compartments and each light took 4 batteries. In my defense, there were no instructions, and no indication on Box that mentioned needing 4 batteries. No wonder they supplied 16 batteries. And I thought they were just being generous!! As said below, they are very bright, lighting up closets so contents AND colors can be seen in dark. Initial out of the box review:
