This is a great hat. Crushes for travel and packing This is a great hat. Crushes for travel and packing. Not heavy when wearing. Seems to breathe quite well. I wore it in extreme heat in Nice France while on a tour and it seemed to keep the sun off me very well. Not sure of its waterproof qualities yet as I have not had a chance to wear it in the rain. Over all I love it. Adjust to most head sizes I would say. Would buy it again.
Love this hat I am so pleased with this hat; it’s exactly as advertised. Price was right, and has so many features: wide brim, which protects for either sunshine or rain; water proof to keep the rain off; snaps on each side to attach brim (s); netting in sides of hat to keep head cool; adjustable to fit any size head and, lastly, cord attached to hat when windy/rainy. I’ve already kept a windy day at bay with the neck cord. All in all. I LOVE THIS HAT!!
Great hat for Extreme heat. I bought this for my trip to death valley and I was impressed on how well it worked in the extreme heat(Just Remeber lighter colors are better for this). My head and face was well protected and the brim managed to keep its shape. Even with the surprise shower, It kept my head dry and cool. Though I am a person with a large head (7 1/2+) The hat’s fit was snug, so before the trip I wore it around my house until it stretched out enough that it was comfortable.
