Firm axe, great for the price and all the accessories The actual axe head works very well. But the Firesteel broke clean off after a couple simple strikes, and a small piece of the tip of the knife also broke.Update- the full item was replaced no questions ! Havenât had an issue again!
Almost perfect I really love the overall quality of this axe but I did have a couple of issues. When chopping through a log, I did notice the handle turned and made everything super tight. Iâm now unable to open the knife part of the handle. Another big issue is the magnesium striker rod broke at the base so Iâm unable to screw it out and replace it. Basically when it comes to using this axe as just an axe, itâs great. But the other features definitely have flaws.
Quality multi use hatchet I’m writing this review because no one had done so prior to my purchase. I just wanted to advise anyone that was interested, that they would not be disappointed with this multi tool hatchet. The quality is more than I expected for the price, which by the way, was less than an almost identical competitor. I was trying to decide between this model and the other.
