Bright but flimsy battery lock I have had this headlamp for a while and it’s great; very bright and functional. However I recently bought the pack of 10 and two of them broke while I was putting in the batteries (not included). The battery door is leveraged by a small, flimsy piece of plastic that turns out to be crucial to the functioning of the headlamp – if it snaps off while putting in the batteries (which it did twice), you can’t even duct tape the lid shut. Be very careful when installing the batteries!

Poor quality–expect that some will not work out of the box, and all will be junk within a few uses. Purchased a 10-pack even though we only needed 3 head lamps. Well we needed to open 5 to get 3 which worked–2 of them did not work out of the box. 40% failure rate on the first five head lamps ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
