GPS only works SOME of the time First step when getting this is to call the Speedtalk and setup your SIM, then insert it into the watch. Install Setracker2 and it will follow you through on what to do. The time zone is screwed up so it is set on Military time, you have to go to Location and Time Zone settings and basically click through all the GMT locations until you find one that shows the correct time AND date. I live in Ohio and found that West GMT:4:30 works for my location. But the GPS only works some of the time, I…
Pro and con It’s worth with the price. I like the feature like alert for device takes off. I don’t like it too much because I can shutdown the device from my phone but can’t turn it on. If device is offline, you can’t do anything. The voice is not clear when you call each other. There is background static noice. I’m not sure that that’s only with our watch. I don’t know where to ask or report it.
Good product and great customer care I bought 2 watches for my kids aged 9 and 10 so we can start to leave them free while being accessible if need be without paying for an expensive smartphone which they can loose. Agreed its not really plug ‘n play but it’s a very low price. The comments/reviews availble Amazon on this product (see more below) give sufficient guidance and Lisa at Life-Tandy was VERY helpful and continuously wanting to improve customer experience. That’s why altogether I rate it a 5.
