It has everything as advertized, which were the things … It has everything as advertized, which were the things I was looking for. The scraper came with a small chip on the front; I think it shows that this isn’t a high quality kit. (I expected this and didn’t plan on relying on this ice scraper anyway.) One thing to note is making sure you carry some matches or lighter with you if you actually plan on using the candles since no fire-starter is included in the kit.
Be prepared for the worst in winter I have a regular roadside assistance kit in my car, but I live in New England and we get snow – sometimes a lot of it. There is always a risk of ending up off the road, or stranded somewhere, and having a winter emergency kit might allow you to get back on the road – or at least stay alive until you can get some help. I hope I never need it, but I’m glad I have it if I do.
Kit has lots of useful stuff, but it’s mostly cheap stuff that you could gather for far less money. This kit is full of very cheap stuff, albeit stuff you may need in an emergency, but you’d be better off just building your own kit for the price they are charging for it. This kit is really handy for the convenience of not having to gather all the various emergency supply items, so if you’re willing to pay for the convenience then it’s worth it.
