The Light My Fire Black Pearl CampKit includes the essentials for starting fires and enjoying meals at camp or in the backcountry, as well as in survival and emergency situations. Great quality set! Awesome packaged set! The knife coloration is pretty cool. The firesteel works well, especially for it’s length. I didn’t have a chance to try the fatwood yet, but I’m sure it works well. I think I will be upgrading g to a larger firesteel though.
Very nice all around knife. I bought the kit because it actually ended up being cheaper than just the knife. I purchased 2 in fact, 1 for myself and 1 for my daughter. It is a high quality, inexpensive knife for those getting started hiking or prepping. I really like the fact it includes a fire starter in the handle. While this may not serve as a primary knife, it is perfectly suited as a backup. Remember 2 is 1 and 1 is none.
FANTASTIC. Soooo much product for the $$ As usual Mora knives are the best for your $. This kit is fantastic. Knife is very sharp as is the striking edge for the firesteel. I am an 80 yr. old bushwacker,hunter.camper and fisherman. Live in the Catskill Mts. of NY. Also participate in Mountain Man Rendezvous, so I know my way around survival situations. Within 1 hr. of getting this kit in my hands I ordered another one for a gift. Hoka Hey,enjoy the wilderness.
