Great quality and fun for camping!

Customer Video Review Length:: 0:04 Mins Great product! Easy to use and makes a lot of sparks on one swipe. Extra features are nice as well. Mini compass and saw are great add on features for camping! Also has a nice strong string to wear around your neck.

Not the most user-friendly but works It definitely took me a bit of time to strike it right to get sparks… not sure if it’s just me, but might not be the most user-friendly way to start a fire? Eventually I did get sparks, after trying about 5 times – I just had to get the speed and pressure right, and I figured out that I should use the straight side to strike, as opposed to the side with teeth. (Not sure if that’s intuitive for other people, but it wasn’t for me.) Anyway, I still haven’t tried using it to start an actual fire,…

Happy with the magnesium rod; whistling is unsteady and weak, compass works but small readout I wanted this mainly for the magnesium firestarter, so I’m happy with that. One star off for:(1) a weak whistle. It could draw attention, but I could yell louder.(2) a small read out on the compass. These old man eyes can’t see it very well. It does point North though. You get two of these tools.Key added in picture for size perspective.Texas Knowhow Tip: The black on the magnesium rod is only a coating and you should scrap it…
