For the price it was a great deal, I had looked at other small packs … I bought this shoulder because I do a lot wade and pier fishing and at times on a charter boat, I was tired of lugging around a tackle box or large backpack. So far this has been the most versatile pack I have purchased, I mainly use it to hold my soft lures, ready rigs, bay slayer floats, hooks, and weights along with a few other essentials. Perfect except for a weak seam, could have been my fault I love this backpack. My only complaint is that one of the straps pulled out of the seam and this is the first time we packed it. I may have pulled it too tight but it should not have pulled out. I had to sew it because I need the pack for today. I highly recommend this backpack. Gave it 4 stars because of the seam. It has some kinda cool pockets and straps. I only wish that I did not need it today or I likely would have asked for an exchange.
Great for personalizing. It is lightweight, very sturdily made, has many pockets and compartments, but it is not so wide that it interferes with arm movement. I removed the logo (velcroed) from the chest pocket, also removed the stretchy cord, sewed up one side of that pocket and it perfectly fit my phone. The cord was re-purposed to the right side of the bag for a water bottle holder. There will be a few more adjustments but this bag has great bones. Glad I got it.
