So we ordered these medium duty springs and they are perfect. They stand straight while drive We had ordered the light duty springs which where not strong enough to hold the antenna vertical when driving down the road and after a couple of hours driving the light duty springs had a 45 degree bend in them. So we ordered these medium duty springs and they are perfect. They stand straight while drive, yet flex when hit by tree etc. without breaking the antenna. Excellent..
Perfect for preventing damage to offroad vehicles with CB antennas! Item performed perfectly. These serve two purposes. The first, CB antennas must be “tuned” for optimum range. This is an easy way to add a significant amount of “length” to the antenna if that i needed. The other purpose, and the only these were purchased for, were to provide significant movement for whips mounted on an ATV.
