051 steel plate and it cut it like a dream I tested it out on some .051 steel plate and it cut it like a dream. very smooth and decently quite. Please note that this might work even smoother on a corded drill with a higher RPM scale than say a battery powered one. Nonetheless it cut very good and I can’t wait to use it on the project I have coming up.
