Great! I’ve owned this little axe now for probably close to ten years now, purchased from HD. Primarily used for camping in the warmer months and thrown in the trunk for winter emergencies. I like it, it feels great in the hand and the handle/head is still as tight as it was new. Near the head the handle material is a bit rubbery, and from various slips and mis-aimed swings, this thing has really taken some abuse. The rubber in this area is really torn up, but absolutely no signs of structural…
Axe you can keep next to your bed… I have no need for an Axe like this- I don’t camp. On rare occasion I’m in the country with wood to chop I have some full sized axes. But man, I love this little guy, I keep it near where I sleep. You never know when you may need an axe in the middle of the night.
