Great Bright light. Works great. Very bright. And the four D cell supply last long. Only issue I’ve had, on 3 separate occasions, when turning on the light, you get a false ON, and it shuts off and will not turn back on until you remove the base (battery door) and put it back on.
I like the fact that the batteries last a long time … I like the fact that the batteries last a long time plus the out put is very bright (1000 Lumens). The dimmer produces a very good range for me. This is a good lamp for a picnic table at night.
Heavy Duty, Reliable, and Bright My third purchase of this item after trying half a dozen other brands. There are many reasons for purchasing a lighter, smaller lantern, but if what you need is to fill a large, pitch-dark room with light when the power’s out, pack this guy with four D-cells and turn it up.
