Great long distance light. This light works very well. On mine the focus adjustment allows you to eliminate the central dark spot mentioned in some comments. Maglite make great lights, rugged, waterproof, and very reliable. Another service to their customers to aid selection is the information supplied with each light and on their website. Good light but prefer button switch Gave this flashlight a try based on the reviews. In spite of its strong light output, I’ll admit I was disappointed with the lack of a button switch. Other reviewers stated that the simple twist system would last longer so I ordered it. Potentially true, but twisting the head to turn it on made it slightly loose for my liking. Not a deal breaker, I’ve just grown fond of the button switch design on my other Maglites.
