These are perfect for sitting by the fire with friends, toasting yummy marshmallows As new homeowners, we built a fire pit. And with a fire pits comes….S’MORES! I had no idea that roasting sticks existing until I started looking for them. I remember being a kid and making s’mores with sticks which left me eating crunchy marshmallows. I came across these in my search to avoid using sticks again and these have been fantastic so far.
Just what you need for an evening of S’mores I grew up hunting down my own marshmallow stick and carefully pointing it with my dad’s pocket knife. Sometimes I found the perfect stick – evenly tapered, straight, long and strong. But mostly, they were curved and made for a few contortions to keep from burning one side of the marshmallow and cooking them evenly without setting them on fire.
The Marshmallow Goo (aka GLUE) comes right off! MIRACLE!!! OK, I know you die-hard campers will roll your eyes, because you would (of course) go out and cut down a tree and whittle your own sticks. Or, go hunt sticks, whatever it is that y’all do. But, I’m lazy and I hate to anger the trees. So, I got these.
